TEE POLICY


The WSMGA has established the following tee policy for Play Days and major tournaments except where otherwise noted in that event's tournament guidelines.

  1. Players qualify for the Forward tees if their handicap index + age is equal to or greater than 95.
  2. Players qualify for the Super Senior tees if their handicap index + age is equal to or greater than 85.
  3. Players qualify for the Match tees if the sum of their handicap index + age is equal to or greater than 75.
  4. Players qualify for the Jones tees if the sum of their handicap index+ age is equal to or greater than 65.
  5. Players qualify for the Medal tees if the sum of their handicap index + age totals less than 65.
  6. A player may elect to play more difficult tees than those they qualify for but may not elect to play less difficult tees.

This policy also applies to guests at any of our Weekly Play Days or other tournaments.
